Support Our Library
The libraries in Douglas County lost their funding in 2018 and since that time the Friends of the Yoncalla Library have kept the Yoncalla Library in service. We are proud of what we have accomplished.
The City of Yoncalla generously provides maintenance, utilities and public internet services while the Friends of the Yoncalla Library provides for a part time staff librarian, book purchases, six public computers, special after-school, summer reading, and teen programs.
Currently the annual Library operating expenses are about $30,000, part of which is supplied by grants. As we continue to seek out grant opportunities we also welcome our community's support. Any donation amount is appreciated, because it all adds up. Thank you!
